Adams has supported investments that improve everyday quality of life while strengthening Utah’s research and innovation capacity. During his tenure, the state expanded its support for Huntsman Cancer Institute, advancing groundbreaking research, expanding treatment options and bringing world-class cancer care closer to home.
He also helped secure the relocation of military operations from Fort Douglas to Camp Williams, protecting important military missions, supporting thousands of jobs and reinforcing Utah’s role in our nation’s security. At a time when communities across the country compete for these opportunities, he understands that protecting Utah’s place in the national defense also means protecting jobs, supporting Utahns and strengthening our economy.
