After going undrafted through Tuesday and Wednesday’s first and second rounds of the draft, the BYU big man has agreed to a deal with the Indiana Pacers, the Deseret News learned from Keita’s agent, Keith Kreiter.

Keita will be signing an Exhibit 10 deal with the Pacers and will be with the team through Summer League, hoping to make enough of an impression to sign a longer-term deal.

Throughout the pre-draft process, Keita competed at the G League Elite Camp (part of the NBA Combine) and then worked out with at least 13 different teams leading up to draft night.

At BYU, Keita held averages of 6.9 points and 7.5 rebounds across two seasons.

Las Vegas Summer League begins on July 9 and runs through July 19.

On Tuesday night, Keita’s teammate and BYU star AJ Dybantsa was selected No. 1 overall in the 2026 NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards and on Wednesday night, BYU’s Richie Saunders was routed to the Memphis Grizzlies with the second pick of the second round (32nd overall pick).
