After the Utah Jazz selected him No. 2 overall in the 2026 NBA Draft, Darryn Peterson said that the next step of the offseason he was most looking forward to was getting to Utah, his new home.

On Friday afternoon, Peterson, along with his family arrived in Salt Lake City and were greeted not only by Jazz officials, but also by a select number of Jazz youth participants and fans.










The arrival event was not open to the public, but it won’t be long before Peterson is surrounded by many more adoring and screaming fans.
Salt Lake City Summer League is just around the corner, with games on July 4, 6 and 7.
