Jeremiah threw 6 ⅔ innings, and gave up just one base hit in the 3-0 win for the Golden Eagles. He struck out nine Don batters.

Kingston McCloud came on to get the final out.

The Eagles from Maple Mountain scored two runs in the second inning, thanks to RBI hits from freshman Kye Ward and Nash Ferguson. They tacked on another in the fifth inning on an RBI single from Mitch Walker.

The star of the show though, was Hall, who kept the talented Spanish Fork lineup at bay all game long. He allowed just seven total baserunners, but three of those reached by error.

Despite the errors, the defense behind Hall was excellent. Hayden Hyatt and Lincoln Beenfield made some very nice plays to help their pitcher out.

These Region 7 rivals will play again around 4:30 this afternoon to decide the 5A title.
