- Former Pac-12 foe Colorado enters its 16th season under Tad Boyle, with the Buffaloes looking to return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2024. Utah faced Colorado twice in 2026 and suffered a pair of double-digit losses.
- Oklahoma State, riding a five year stretch of finishing in the bottom half of the Big 12, will visit Salt Lake City (Feb. 27) and welcome the Runnin’ Utes to Stillwater (Jan. 12). The Cowboys defeated Utah 81-69 last season at the Huntsman Center.
- BYU and Utah will continue their historic rivalry with matchups in Salt Lake City (Feb. 6) and Provo (Jan. 16) after Kevin Young’s Cougars won each of their 2026 meetings with the Runnin’ Utes.
