Springville (4-2) dominated in a 48-0 shutout over Payson (3-3) in a Region 7 matchup, triggered by the 44-point mercy rule. The Red Devils jumped to an early lead with Siaosi “Leka” Toki’s 58-yard touchdown pass from Beckett Burton and Sam Nadauld’s punt return, both in the first quarter. Viliami Hosea’s electrifying 92-yard kick return with 18 seconds left in the first half capped off a 27-point second quarter for Skyline. Will Finau accounted for two touchdowns, one rushing and one passing, in the second quarter. Skyline continued to pull away in the second half, with Saia Vake adding a 45-yard scoring run early in the third quarter. Jordan managed two touchdowns in the second quarter but failed to score in the second half.

Dru Reuss led Murray (5-1) with two rushing touchdowns and a passing touchdown in a commanding 38-21 victory over East (0-5) in a Region 10 matchup.
