The first official teaser trailer for \u201cThe Chosen\u201d Season 6 was released on Monday. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe put a lot of time and effort into this because this is important,\u201d Dallas Jenkins, creator of \u201cThe Chosen,\u201d said during a Sunday night livestream announcing the release of the trailer. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis season is the most important and biggest and heaviest season we\u2019ve ever done,\u201d he continued. \u201cBut there\u2019s also moments of pure joy and meaning as well, which you wouldn\u2019t expect in a season about the crucifixion. But I really want you to lean into this.\u201d <\/p>\n

The 1\u00bd-minute trailer opens with an emotional exchange between Mary, the mother of Jesus, and Jesus before the crucifixion. It then shifts to scenes from the final day of Jesus\u2019 life and the chaos that unfolds in Jerusalem. <\/p>\n

The sixth season of the biblical drama will depict the final 24 hours in the life of Jesus Christ, known as Good Friday. Audiences will see Jesus\u2019 arrest and crucifixion along with the confusion among his disciples that ultimately leads them to scatter.<\/p>\n

\u201cI say this every year, but I truly think that this time, this is going to be the most intense that they\u2019ve ever seen us go,\u201d Abe Bueno-Jallad, the actor who plays Big James on the series, previously told the Deseret News.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe pace, the drama, all of that has been picked up, and you can feel it. It\u2019s so palpable. There\u2019s not a casual conversation in any scene,\u201d he continued. \u201cEverything is going. The wheels are turning. People are trying to stop things from happening \u2014 and they\u2019re not able to.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Jenkins, the upcoming season will focus on \u201csurrender.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSeason 6 is really a lot about surrender. We\u2019re watching Jesus ultimately surrender to something that was extraordinarily painful,\u201d Jenkins told the Deseret News earlier this year.<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cThe disciples confused, broken, wondering, having to surrender. I think I\u2019m hoping that the viewers come away from the season saying, \u2018Can you surrender even when you don\u2019t always understand people?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

When does \u2018The Chosen\u2019 Season 6 come out?<\/h3>\n

Season 6 of \u201cThe Chosen\u201d will debut on Prime Video this November.<\/p>\n

Season 6 will span six episodes, plus a finale. It will launch with three episodes on Nov. 15, followed by weekly installments before concluding with the global theatrical release of the season finale in spring 2027.<\/p>\n
