Pleasant Grove (4-3) rallied to defeat Layton Christian (6-1) in a nonregion matchup, scoring 16 unanswered points for a 23-15 win. Trailing by five points at halftime, the Vikings narrowed the gap with a 20-yard field goal by Ben Lyman in the third quarter. Corbin Robbins’ 10-yard run put Pleasant Grove ahead with 11:40 left in the fourth quarter. Lyman extended the lead to eight points with a 25-yard field goal at 7:59 in the fourth. The Vikings’ defense held the Eagles scoreless in the second half to secure the victory.
Enterprise 26, Emery 14
Keith Albrecht’s outstanding performance propelled Enterprise (4-3) to a 26-14 victory over Emery (2-5) in a nonregion matchup. Albrecht scored three times in the fourth quarter, beginning with a 47-yard interception return with 10:15 left. He then caught an 11-yard touchdown pass with 8:03 remaining and capped off the scoring with a 71-yard kickoff return just 10 seconds after Emery narrowed the gap with Kai Whitsel’s 26-yard touchdown catch. The teams were tied 7-7 at halftime before Enterprise’s decisive fourth-quarter surge secured the win.
Fremont 14, Farmington 11
Fremont (5-2) held on for a 14-11 nonregion victory over Farmington (3-4) after a dominant second quarter. Calvin Cooper connected twice with Ky Majors for touchdowns, the first at 4:20 on an 11-yard pass and again with 1:25 left in the second quarter for 25 yards, building a 14-3 halftime lead. Farmington’s offensive efforts fell short, despite Owen Morris’s 40-yard field goal in the second quarter and Brogan Jeppesen’s 2-yard touchdown run, followed by a successful run, with 1:42 left in the fourth. Fremont contained Farmington’s late rally to seal the win.
Jordan 24, Judge Memorial 16
Landon Tibbets’ 42-yard touchdown reception from Sterling Ostler, with 52 seconds left in the second quarter, gave Jordan (3-4) a lead they never relinquished against Judge Memorial (1-4) in a 24-16 nonregion victory. Traeson Ewing secured the win with a 7-yard touchdown catch from Ostler with 4:11 left in the fourth. Judge Memorial’s Alan Asiata scored a 2-yard touchdown with 38 seconds left, but it was too late to close the gap. Jordan’s defense held strong, allowing only three points through the first three quarters, helping them achieve their second win of the season.

Water Canyon (4-3) set a new school record with a historic 94-61 victory over St. Joseph (2-4), marking the most points they have scored in a game. This high-scoring 1A 8-player matchup featured a combined 155 points, the highest since 2016.

Corbin Black threw for four touchdowns as Grand (3-2) dominated Whitehorse (4-2) in a 45-0 shutout in a 1A 8-player matchup. The Red Devils opened the scoring with a 32-yard pass from Black to Everett Hill at 9:51 in the first quarter and never looked back. Cooper Swasey added a pair of touchdowns, including a receiving score with 1:47 in the third. Jareth Hernandez contributed with a 28-yard field goal early in the third. Black connected with Kalvin Hopkins and Luke Melton for late fourth-quarter touchdowns, sealing the comprehensive victory.
Milford 53, Utah Military Camp Williams 18
Tayon Blackburn’s three-touchdown performance powered Milford (3-4) to a decisive 53-18 win over Utah Military Camp Williams (3-4) in a 1A 8-player contest. Blackburn scored twice in the second quarter, helping the Tigers to a commanding 41-6 halftime lead with a 45-yard run and a 4-yard run. Braxton Hansen contributed with two touchdown passes, including a 42-yard pass to Tyce Barnes early in the first quarter. Despite a 63-yard touchdown connection by Utah Military’s James Sullivan to Tyler Muse in the second quarter, the Marauders couldn’t close the gap, falling behind for good after Blackburn’s second score.

Monticello 39, Altamont 16
Fueled by a dominant first half, Monticello (5-1) secured a decisive 39-16 victory over Altamont (1-6) in a 1A 8-player matchup. The Buckaroos exploded early, piling up a 20-point first quarter lead, followed by 19 more points in the second quarter. By halftime, they had amassed an insurmountable 39-8 advantage.
