Even after six decades in the entertainment industry, Donny Osmond is still finding new places to perform his greatest hits — like a kitchen countertop.

Donny Osmond joins popular ‘Kitchen Singing’ series
Osmond, who currently has a solo residency in Las Vegas, briefly traded in his stage at Harrah’s Showroom on the strip for a kitchen countertop to perform a snippet of “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” from “Mulan.”
The singer — who was the singing voice of Captain Li Shang in the 1998 Disney film — was a guest artist on the popular “Kitchen Singing” social media series, launched by singers Anthony Gargiula and Jonathan Tilkin a few years ago.

Sitting on the corner of the kitchen countertop, between Gargiula and Tilkin, Osmond kicked things off.
“Let’s get down to business,” he sang.
From there, the Disney classic quickly evolved into showcasing three-part harmonies. After the trio concluded with the line “mysterious as the dark side of the moon” — holding out the word “moon” for several seconds — Osmond enthusiastically declared, “Yeah baby! That’s the way you do it.”
The video, posted to Instagram on Friday, already has more than 460,000 likes.

In a comment under the video, Gargiula shared a little behind the scenes moment.
“What you all didn’t see was my mom SOBBING on facetime meeting Donny,” he wrote. “Nicest guy ever.”

“It was a MOMENT,“ Tilkin responded. ”What a great guy.”
The “Kitchen Singing” series has gone viral many times over the years, featuring a wide range of artists including Kristin Chenoweth, Josh Groban, Jeff Goldblum, Kristen Bell and Leslie Odom Jr.
A full-circle moment
The kitchen counter performance with Osmond was somewhat of a full-circle moment for Gargiula, who was 7 when he saw the singer star as Gaston in “Beauty and the Beast” on Broadway.
That marked Gargiula’s first time seeing a Broadway show, and it “sparked a dream that never left me,” he told People.
“I remember thinking, ‘How do I get up there one day?’” he said.
Now, Gargiula — who has built an audience of more than 8 million followers through his “Kitchen Singing” videos, per People — makes his Broadway debut in the musical “& Juliet” on Sept. 15 and will star in the performance through early December.
Osmond’s residency, meanwhile, currently extends through June 2027.
The singer performs the “Mulan” hit in the Vegas show, a 90-minute whirlwind of a production that goes through the six decades of his career. Since launching in 2021, the show has earned a number of awards including for best headliner and best family-friendly show, as the Deseret News reported.
“You never know what’s going to happen in show business,” Osmond told the Deseret News in 2024. “You launch a show, you throw it against the wall, you hope it sticks. But with this one, it was so important that it stuck, because it is my ultimate show, to be honest with you. It incorporates all three of my careers: the Donny career, the Donny/Marie career and the Osmond career. I mean, it’s everything, so I wanted this show to work.”
